Important Member Notice – Fraudulent Text Message Scam

We are aware of a new scam text message currently circulating and targeting credit union members.
The fraudulent message claims that a new payee has been added to your account and asks you to call a phone number (including 01 946 1801) if you do not recognise the activity. When called, this number is answered by someone pretending to be from a “Credit Union Fraud Department.”
✅ This message and phone number are NOT from the Credit Union.
✅ This is a highly professional scam designed to obtain your personal and financial information.

What You Should Do

Do NOT call the number provided in the text.
Do NOT click any links or share personal details.
If you receive such a message, delete it immediately.
If you are unsure about any communication, contact us directly using our official phone number or website. If you believe you may have shared information with scammers, please contact us immediately.
